Privacy Policy

YamLogic (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of Users' personal information in the smartphone applications, websites, and related services provided by us (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Service") as follows.

Data handling in LinkOrganizer

LinkOrganizer does not require an app account. Saved links, folders, and notes are managed on your device and, when you enable iCloud sync, synchronized through your iCloud storage. Fetching page titles, images, or site icons and opening links involves communication with the respective websites.

We use Apple's In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat to process purchases, restore purchases, and verify subscription status. For these purposes, Apple and RevenueCat process purchase history, product, transaction and subscription information, an app user identifier generated by RevenueCat, and information about the usage environment. This information is used to manage purchases, provide paid features, and analyze purchase activity. LinkOrganizer does not send your saved bookmarks or notes to RevenueCat.

Retention periods for purchase-related information are determined by the time needed to restore purchases, verify subscription status, provide paid features, and respond to inquiries, as well as applicable legal retention obligations and dispute resolution needs.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of purchase-related data, contact contact@yamlogic.com. After verifying your identity and identifying the relevant data, we will take appropriate steps, including requesting deletion from RevenueCat where necessary. Some information, such as data subject to legal retention requirements, may not be eligible for deletion. Requesting data deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription.

RevenueCat's privacy policy

Article 1 (Information Collected)

We may collect the following information when providing the Service:

  1. Information provided by Users
    • Name, email address, content of inquiry, etc., provided when contacting us for inquiries or support.
    • User profile information when using the account registration function.
  2. Information collected automatically
    • Device Information: Type of device used, model, OS, browser type, language settings, etc.
    • Identifiers: Unique IDs generated using technologies such as Advertising Identifiers (IDFA, AAID) and Cookies.
    • Log Information: Access date and time, IP address, crash information, etc.

Article 2 (Information Collected and Processed when Using Specific Functions)

In the Service, only when using applications that include the following functions, we handle the following information based on the User's explicit permission or operation. In applications that do not include the corresponding functions, this information is not acquired.

  1. Location Information
    • We acquire location information using the device's GPS function, etc., only when using functions that require location information, such as map functions or the provision of region-specific content.
    • The acquired location information is used only for the provision of said function (such as displaying the current location on the map) and is not used for other purposes (such as statistical analysis or tracking).
  2. Input Data Associated with the Use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) Functions
    • When using AI functions provided by the Service (chatbots, image generation, text analysis, etc.), text or image data input by the User is used for processing and response generation by the AI.

Article 3 (Non-acquisition of Information and Data Management)

We respect the User's privacy to the utmost extent. Unless there is explicit consent or operation by the User (such as using an import function), we will never access the following information or transmit/collect it to our servers:

  1. Browser bookmarks, browsing history
  2. Contact data, photos, video data
  3. Other private files stored on the device

Data input or saved by the User within the Service is, in principle, saved only within the User's device (or cloud storage such as iCloud managed by the User themselves), and we will not view or use this data without permission.

Article 4 (Purpose of Use)

We use the acquired information for the following purposes:

  1. For the provision, operation, and maintenance of the Service (including content generation by AI and service provision based on location information).
  2. To respond to inquiries from Users.
  3. To analyze the usage status of the Service and use it for functional improvement, development of new services, and improvement of usability.
  4. To contact Users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
  5. To prevent use for fraudulent or unjust purposes.
  6. For advertising distribution and content provision tailored to Users (if advertisements are displayed).

Article 5 (Cookies and Information Collection Modules)

The Service may use third-party services and information collection modules for usage analysis, advertising, purchase management, and related purposes. The services used depend on the application and feature.

  • Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics (Analysis / Crash Logs)
  • Google AdMob (Advertising Distribution) Please refer to Google’s website for the privacy policies of the Google services listed above.
  • RevenueCat (purchase management, provision of paid features, and purchase activity analysis in LinkOrganizer). See “Data handling in LinkOrganizer” in this Policy for details.

Article 6 (Provision to Third Parties)

We will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the User's prior consent. Exceptions include entrusting data processing to service providers as necessary for the stated purposes, processing by external services described in this Policy to provide features used by the User, cases required by law, and cases necessary to protect human life or property.

Article 7 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

The content of this Policy may be changed without notice to Users. The modified Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.

Article 8 (Rights of Users in the EEA based on GDPR)

This Article applies to Users residing in the EEA (European Economic Area) or the United Kingdom who are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  1. Legal Basis for Processing We process data based on the following grounds:
    • Contractual Performance: Provision of Service functions (including AI functions and location information services).
    • Consent: Tracking such as acquisition of location information and advertising distribution.
    • Legitimate Interests: Service improvement, security assurance.
  2. User Rights Targeted Users have the following rights:
    • Right of Access (Right to confirm one's own data)
    • Right to Rectification (Right to correct inaccurate data)
    • Right to Erasure (Right to delete data)
    • Right to Data Portability (Right to transfer data)
    • Right to Withdraw Consent (Right to withdraw consent at any time)
  3. Data Transfer Personal data may be processed in Japan and in countries or regions where external service providers or their subprocessors operate. RevenueCat uses data centers in the United States. Where international transfers are necessary, data is handled in accordance with applicable law using appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Article 9 (Rights of California Residents based on CCPA/CPRA)

This Article applies to Users subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments.

  1. Denial of Sale/Sharing of Information

    We do not "sell" Users' personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.

  2. User Rights

    Targeted Users have the right to request disclosure, deletion, correction of inaccurate information, and to opt-out (refuse) of the sale/sharing of personal information. Users will not be subject to unjust discriminatory treatment even if they exercise these rights.

Article 11 (Language) This Privacy Policy is translated from the original Japanese version. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the Japanese version and this English translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.
