Use profiles to separate contexts, folders to create a hierarchy, and tags or marks to identify links. Settings → Organization manages profiles, marks, bulk-action colors, and Trash.
How do profiles, folders, tags, and marks differ?
- Profiles: Switch the collection you see for contexts such as work or hobbies.
- Folders: Group related links and create a hierarchy with subfolders.
- Tags: Organize links with multiple keywords.
- Marks: Identify a status or purpose, such as important or read later.
You can combine them: separate contexts with profiles, group links with folders, and use tags or marks to find them again.
How do I add or switch profiles?
Open Settings → Organization → Profile Management. Add a profile with its name, icon, and color, then select the profile you want to view. Two profile slots are available for free. Creating or duplicating profiles beyond that requires Pro.
If links disappear after switching, check the original profile first. Hidden from view does not mean deleted. To switch by time, use profile schedules.
How do I organize marks?
Choose the marks you use in Mark Management, then apply them through bookmark editing or action menus. They help identify important or read-later links without creating more folders.
If a marked link is missing, check the current profile and the list’s tag or mark filters.
How do I move, duplicate, or delete several items?
Select the items in a list and open bulk actions. Confirm the destination and selection before proceeding. Actions that only apply to bookmarks are unavailable when only folders are selected.
Colorful Mode changes the colors of bulk-action icons. Turning it off does not remove actions. Bulk actions for up to 4 bookmarks are free; 5 or more requires Pro. Opening multiple links in Safari has a separate limit.
Can I restore a deleted link?
If Use Trash was enabled and the bookmark has not been permanently deleted, select it in Trash and restore it. Check the destination profile and folder afterward.
Items removed by emptying Trash, automatic permanent deletion, or deletion with Trash disabled cannot be recovered from Trash. Trash is not an undo mechanism for every data-deletion action.
What should I know about automatic deletion and disabling Trash?
Choose 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or never for automatic deletion. Restore anything you need before its retention period ends.
Confirming Disable and Empty Trash permanently removes the current Trash contents, and future deletions become immediate. It is not a way to temporarily hide Trash. Keep a backup before a major cleanup.
